Q: How do I get a chicken mug?

A: Chicken mugs are released every two months, the date of the next release is always listed on the Mugs Page as well as in my instagram bio. I suggest you get to the shop right on time because popular colors tend to sell out fast!

I always send out an email to my flock two days before a shop update as a reminder. If you'd like to join us you'll also get weekly chicken keeping tips!

Q: Can I pre-order, custom order, or reserve a piece in advance?

A: I don't offer custom orders regularly so I can focus on making enough mugs for shop updates, but every few months I do open up for customs. Keep an eye on instagram for customs news!

Pieces can't be reserved, I try to keep it fair to all customers, so shopping is first come, first serve.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

I do ship worldwide. When you check out, my shop will automatically configure shipping cost based on your distance from my studio. However, shipping internationally takes considerably longer, so please be patient!

Q: When will my piece ship?

I'm a one woman operation, and while I work hard to get pieces out in a timely manner, it does take me several days after a shop update to get them all in the mail. Your piece will ship within 5 business days of purchase, and will ship Priority 3 Day Mail. 

NOTE: Tees, totes, and art prints don't fit within this time frame. They are printed off-site and take a little longer to ship than ceramics do.

Q: Can I actually use these ceramics for food and drink or are they just for decoration?

All the ceramic mugs I offer are food safe!

Q: Are the mugs dishwasher and microwave safe?

Most of the mugs I offer are fine to put in the dishwasher. However, the chicken character mugs that are shaped like actual chickens should really be hand washed only. They are especially delicate and need special care!

These chickens mugs should not be put in the microwave.

Q: Where are you located?

A: My pottery shop is located in Western NY, in between Rochester and Buffalo. 

Q: How does my piece get shipped?

Your ceramic piece will be placed in a gift box, surrounded by colorful springfill, then tied shut with a ribbon. That box will then be placed in a shipping box, surrounded by biodegradable packing peanuts. This box-in-a-box system ensures your piece is protected during its journey, plus it's already gift wrapped for you!

I do my best to use very little plastic in shipping and always try to use recycled materials when possible.
